-------Lets go ahead and get right into the comic books. This week I caught up on issues 601 and 602 of The Incredible Hulk. The current state of The Hulk is that there is no Hulk. Bruce Banner has no sign of gamma radiation anywhere in his blood stream and the unique reaction his blood had to gamma radiation is no longer happening. Now we all know this is a temporary thing, Bruce Banner even states as much in the comic book. So we now have a non-Hulked out Bruce Banner and Skaar son of Hulk traveling around together. Skaar hates the Hulk and Bruce hates the Hulk. So that got that in common. Bruce however feels that The Hulk will kick Skaar’s ass and thusly has taken it upon him to train Skaar in the exquisite art of superhero combat. Now this is all well and good, leading to a fight with the Juggernaut. We got some good action and what not. But more importantly than all that is we got Hulk-Sword. That’s right! Bruce goes to the Baxter Building and collects the Hulk-sword and Armor. He then proceeds to give the Hulk-Sword to Skaar, which is fitting. Every great warrior should go into battle with their father’s sword when possible.
-------All in all it is a good storyline so far. We get some laughs as everybody keeps calling Skaar Conan. We get to see Skaar read a Conan comic book and get the joke. We get some good bashing. We don’t get to see any Hulk-Sword cleaving though. We get to see Skaar and Bruce holding the sword in combat, but no cleaving. Perhaps Mickey Mouse wouldn’t approve. Ah hell who am I kidding. The old Marvel wouldn’t have approved either. In my opinion this whole storyline is a plot device to bring the Hulk and Skaar together. Gotta make it a family for the big event this winter; Fall of the Hulk Family.
-------Its been two weeks since I last chimed in on heroes. This week had some good stuff. Let me start with the lesbian kiss. I approve of this wholeheartedly and hope that this is a storyline they develop further. They finally found a way to make me want to watch the Cheerleader storyline. Big news of course is that Sylar is back baby!!I would have thought they would drag out the Nathan/Sylar storyline a little longer. However maybe they got the hint and cut it short in order to bring back Sylar. Who can say, maybe it’s not over. Lets not forget finally that we have the Dazzler now appearing in the Heroes universe. I never really liked the Dazzler character in the Marvel universe. Ultimate Dazzler was a lot cooler, but still not a superhero I would translate to the TV. All I can say is I am glad That Petrelli only had her powers for half an episode. So far this season has been OK. It certainly is starting off stronger than last season.
--------I have been reading a lot of online comics as of late. There are a lot of really cool, free comics to read. I am going to bring a couple to your attention right now. First one that you have got to check out is called Nawlz. I am so impressed with the Art and innovation of this online comic. This comic is definitely innovating in the field of online comic books. There are no frames. There is motion and sound. You should check this out. The Art is sic! It’s got a really cool urban graffiti feel to it. So far there are fourteen issues published online. I have read the first couple of them and am a huge fan. Now the story is probably the weakest aspect. I have no idea what is going on or what the hell they are talking about, but it’s OK because I love the visual. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

I want to tell you about is called Pawn.
This one is a more lighthearted strip. It tells the tail of a young
sexy adventurer and her naked super-hot Demoness companion. If you like
Demon Boobs, this is the comic for you. Unfortunately there are only
five twenty page comics published. It doesn’t look like they are
being published on a rapid schedule. That’s pretty common amongst
online comics though. When you’re a one person publisher it makes
it kind of tough to get it out there every month. Especially when you
have to do other stuff to keep the lights on.
