--------In life there are many things that are good, great, outstanding, you get the picture. One of the good things that I don’t think gets enough press is the Hand Job. Sure it’s not quite the same as pounding away at a vagina, or enjoying some felatio but it’s still really quite nice.

--------I mean sure, assuming you are a guy, you probably know how to get yourself off better than the person giving you the hand job but it’s not a matter of proficiency it’s a matter of gee it’s nice for someone else to be handling your junk. That’s what’s so cool about the hand job and assuming you have a reasonably active sex life, the hand job is just some nice variety to your normal bedroom antics. If it isn’t, you need to kind of change things up, but this isn’t about how to be a better lover, this is about Legion.

--------Well, it’s not bad, it’s kind of enjoyable, but it’s nowhere near say the orgasmic explosions of violence you might see in say a Terminator movie, or Avatar, or Aliens. It also lacks the snappy dialogue of say a Tarrantino movie, and it doesn’t have mind bending visual effects like you might get in a Transformers, or Ironman movie.

--------So what you have is a cinematic hand job. It hits the right points, and as long as you aren’t obsessed with getting a blow job, or hitting cinematic coitus, you’ll come out satisfied because even though you could have done it better yourself, you came to the theater so someone else could do it for you.

--------Bettany delivers the best performance he can, he does not phone it in, he just doesn’t have much to work with. The action/suspense, gimmicks are nothing new, fairly standard stuff executed better by other directors past and even the big finale climax is very easy to anticipate, the same way the finale of a hand job is easy to anticipate.

--------This film had the action and visuals Prophecy should have had with none of the story that Prophecy did have.

--------So, watch it or don’t the impact to you will be about as significant if you decided to go ahead and masturbate or skip it on any given day.
